Diarrhea: Yellowish or tan colored stools may be due to irritable bowel, viral intestinal infection, food related intolerances or biliary tract problems including gall bladder, pancreas or liver. In the latter cases the stools could be clay colored and the urine brownish. Since your symptoms are only a few days old, I don't think you need to consult a physician just yet, but avoid harsh roughage for now.
