I have a dull pain in the back of my head on the left side, but im not sure what it is. and im worried.

Muscle spasms.: You may have spasms of the muscles on the left side of the neck where they attach to the skull. This can produce a headache as you describe. I would try some advil, (ibuprofen) moist heat and a massages. If it persists you should see your doctor for an evaluation.
