A member asked:

What are chances of hep c from needlestick during retinal surgery in or?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Easy to figure out: All the characters in the operating room are known, and there's only a few people in all. To start, ask who got stuck with the needle first. If you got stuck with the needle first, then you're in luck (because the needle starts off clean). If somebody else in the room got stuck first, just check that person's blood for Hep C. If the test is negative, you're in luck, too.
