Hard to assess: Need more infomation to actually give a percentage. In general, peripheral detachments have a high success rate with pretty good vision restoration. If the macula (central vision) area comes off then the reattachement rate is moderately high but the visual restoration rate is substantially diminished. Discuss this with your retinal surgeon.
