Why is my blood pressure consistently lower in my right than my leg arm?

Artifact: By far, the most likely explanation is a mis-reading. The higher BP is the correct one. A lower BP suggests some blockage in the artery. This is exceptionally rare in the right arm and very rare in the left. Have someone check it 3 times in the right, then 3 times in the left while you sit still. See if the averages are within 10 points of each other. (they'll never be identical).

BP: There are various reasons why this can happen. Some of the reasons are pathologic and some just have to do with anatomic variants. You need to be examined and sometimes need an imaging study to be sure why its present in an individual.
