Depends: Treatment will depend on several factors (and varies from no treatment to IV antibiotic therapy). 1. How severe is the scalp infection? 2. what are the antibiotic sensitivities to the bacteria? 3. Are there systemic symptoms (like fever, chills, malaise?). 4. Medication allergies?
