Ganglion cyst: There are a number of possibilities, but among the more common is a ganglion cyst. This is a fluid filled "sac" that often extends down to the wrist joint. Does not have to be treated, but treatment options are usually aspiration or excision. Don't hesitate to be seen to have it diagnosed and discuss treatment options.
