Partially: You can have vertigo associated with middle ear infections, but many other factors would be included. Ears should be checked and consideration of dizziness or spinning sensation require Ear, Nose, Throat specialty visit. Feel better.

They are different: Vertigo is generally caused by conditions such as Benign positional postural vertigo, BPPV, Ménière's disease and vestibular neuritis affecting the inner ear. Regular ear infection affects the middle ear, and is not the cause for vertigo. Pl look at the anatomy of ear which is fascinating due to its complexity and intricacy
