Depends on: What caused the bite. It is a bad idea to squeeze it. May respond to warm compresses and analgesic. Watch out for infection

Don't squeeze it!: Leave it alone and let it heal. You can put a dab of bacitracin ointment on it and a bandage to protect it. If it becomes more painful, red or swollen, or you get a fever or red streaks, see a doc right away. Bug bites go away in a few days. Popping them does not help and may cause an infection.
