Take a test: If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. They are cheap, reliable and available at any pharmacy.

If u have unprotecte: Typically one has a pregnancy test prior to such a procedure. But pregnancy tests are only accurate after you've missed your period. So if you're 8 days late and you engage in unprotected sex, then it's time to take a home pregnancy test. Regardless of result, go back to see your GYN or FamilyDoc, either for prenatal vitamins (even if negative as long as trying to conceive) or birth control option
