A member asked:

If i've been diagnosed with hpv do i need to take medicine or just stay regular with pap smear check ups?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No medicines for HPV: HPV is a chronic infection which is often asymptomatic. There is yet no medicines for it yet(although there is a vaccine for it if you were younger and not sexually active.). Most often it resolves spontaneously. You do need to get regular GYN checks for PAP test for several years as advised routinely for all women.
