The answer is: a number of OTC (Over the Counter) medications can help . Probably the most effective is plain old ASPIRIN Two regular strength Aspirin every 6 hours...This is "First Aid" not true TREATMENT! See your Health Care Professional if the swelling persists. ALSO if you are taking any NEW medication STOP IT and call the Prescribing Doctor!! Hope this helps, Good luck and BE WELL Dr Z
