Ct showed calcified gallstones, initial med cond. was leukocytosis. us scheduled, why?

Leukocytosis: means simply elevated WBC count. Causes would include infection, inflammation, or malignancy. Ultrasound is more sensitive than CT for diagnosis of gallstones. Ask your doctor why both tests are recommended.

Ultrasound: is generally better at evaluating gallstones and the gallbladder(particularly signs of cholecystitis) than a CT scan.
