It's math: The best time to get pregnant is at ovulation, day 14 of a 28 day cycle (from the first day you bleed to the next time you bleed again) the luteal phase of the cycle occurs after ovulation and is generally 14 days in length. So if you have a 30 day cycle you ovulate around day 16 (30-14). If you have a 32 day cycle, the best time or ovulation would be day 18 (32-14).
