What is the difference between tylenol (acetaminophen) 3 30mg codiene and statex 5mg morphene and which is stronger i have just been switched to statex?

Opioids: Tylenol (acetaminophen) with codeine is less potent than Morphine. Both work on certain receptors in the body, but Morphine has a higher affinity for the pain receptors & thus you will feel the pain decrease better & faster than you would with the codeine. Essentially none: in opioid equivalents codeine is 180 is equal to morphine 30. So 30 of codeine is equal to 5 of morphine but depending on the person there may be a 30-50% difference due to incomplete cross tolerance.
