MAYBE.: IF MENSTRUAL CYCLES RESUMES SPONTANEOUSLY YOU CAN HOLD OFF METFORMIN..ALTERNATIVELY IF PERIODS ARE IRREGULAR WOULD RESUME METFORMIN. BUT BEWARE OF POSSIBILTY OF PREGNANCY IF NOT ON SOME FORM OF CONTRACEPTION.
