Very: Very accurate.The prior model involved testing for antibody first and the newer model involves testing for both antibody and antigen (piece of the virus itself, which is present during the period of time that antibody is produced by the body). Even if only antibody was tested, it will be present long before the 6 week point. PCR tests for virus in the sample. Odds of false results in both are low
