I have mono and my spleen has enlarged about 30% more than earlier and was already visible through clothing then. how can i reduce inflammation?

Time: The spleen will likely recover along with the disease process. In the meanwhile, don't participate in activities which would dispose you to abdominal trauma.

Limit activities: aLimit activities that are strenuous or involve contact as in sports for at least a month and get adequate rest. Treatment with prednisone or other anti-inflammatory drugs may cause further complications. You don`t want rupture because it will cause loss of spleen and require careful infection precautions in the future.
