Wait safely: Mono spleens can get quite large but rarely rupture without severe trauma, take things easy for a few weeks . no heavy lifting, no trauma, no fighting with your parents

You don't: Your spleen can handle the disease without rupturing. You just need to be cautious. Don't ride horses, bicycles or play sports that put you at risk of falling. Avoid any other activity that could place your body at risk of trauma. If you do this will pass.
