A member asked:

I test positive for active ebv last year and i am having the same symptoms again, i've been tested for everything but ebv. is there a reason they don't test it again? is it worth testing for?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

EBV infection: Once you had EBV you most probably will have antibodies to EBV, even if it is active there is no specific treatment for it. Treatment is mostly symptomatic. Testing is not going contribute for the management.
