Probably not based: on the CT appearance. Talk to your doctor about whether your clinical situation warrants further evaluation of the lymph nodes.

Lymphadenopathy: Enlarged lymph nodes ini the mediastinum need further evaluation. That could be one of several approaches including Endobrochial ultrasound guided FNA, CT guided bx, or mediastinoscopy. There are many benign disorders (infection, inflammatory) but also many malignancies that present in this location. Key is pathology involvement when the sample is obtained to ensure proper triage and management.
