I had bloods done doctor told me i have low albumin and now i have swollen legs and ankles how can i get rid of edema?

Need evaluation: The reason for the low albumin needs to be determined and treated. The edema is likely due to low albumin. Albumin infusion and a diuretic would help, and you would need prescription for that. However, that would only be a temporary measure and the underlying cause needs to be addressed.
