Anorexia-Bulimia: Focus on one's body for both fitness and appearance can increase eating disorders in vulnerable people. As one's focus grows more and more intense, minor variations loom unrealistically large and give rise to overexercise, food-restriction and for some, "rebound" binge-eating. These conditions sneak up slowly and can become serious, even life-threatening. Medical intervention is critical.
