Give it time: The infection inside the tooth was cleared out by the root canal process, but there may be residual infection in the tissue surrounding the tooth. Now that the source of the infection has been removed, the body should fight off any remainder and over the space of a couple of weeks the parulis should disappear. Its shrinkage is a positive sign.
