Depends: When prescribing nsaid for osteoarthritis I am not necessarily looking at giving the strongest one but the one with least side effect profile for that particular patient. For instance, if a patient has history of gastritis, celebrex (celecoxib) might be a better option than other nsaids. Also, caution should be taken when using nsaid on a chronic since they increase the risk of cardiovascular complications.
