My 5 yo was dx with strep on friday afternoon. he has had 4 doses of penicillin and now has a fever of 102 and is vomitting. is he getting worse?

Poor oral intake: Poor little guy! It is not unusual for fever with strep to persist for several days after the first dose of antibiotics. His bigger problem, as you mention is this vomiting. Now this may be cause by the strep infection itself, possibly exacerbated by the antibiotic. If he can't take the oral he will need to get a shot of penicillin to adequately treat the strep.
