Scared?: Your question shows how far we've come in treating infections that you're more afraid of the possible (rare) side effects of an antibiotic than of the infection it's meant to treat. People who lived before the antibiotic age would thank their lucky stars for the drug. No drug is without risk. If a drug has no side effects, it has no EFFECT either. These side effects are rare & it's a good drug.
