itchy red bumps on roof of mouth close to throat....and excessive bleeding gums...what could this be??

Fungal Infection?: The differential diagnosis on this is fairly limited. Most commonly a fungal infection/ allergy can be the culprit. However, it could be something more difficult, such as a herpetic infection, or exotic like pemphigus. I would recommend a trip to your Dentist for visual examination and possible medication/treatment.
