BP meds: This is an expected drop in blood pressure after taking lisinopril. The efficacy of blood pressure medications depends on the cause and can be variable between patients. This is on the higher side ("high" drop in blood pressure). If you have symptoms of LOW BP (dizziness, blurry vision, weakness, nausea, sweating) then you may skip the next dose and notify your doctor. Kudos for monitoring!

Confer with doc: I am very concerned that your 24 hr reading was so high but it's good that it came down to 114/77. However, my biggest question is where is your prescribing provider in all of this?? He or she needs to be informed of how high your BP was and I hope he/she was involved in the decision of you taking 2 lisinopril. It's dangerous for you to make those decisions on your own. Please see your doc!!
