Cold: Several pathogens cause a common cold, but each may cause slight differences in the constellation and progression of cold symptoms. Many of your usual symptoms are likely to manifest. Get rest and eat well, good luck!

Possibilities: Could it be possible that you are suffering from allergic rhinitis instead of a cold? This would more likely be originating and staying in your nasopharynx. OR it could be a different kind of cold virus that you have not had before. Try some nasal saline irrigation several times a day for a couple days and if it's still there try some OTC antihistamine medication or Nasacort (triamcinolone).
