Pregnant care: This question should be discussed with your own dentist and Obstetrician to determine the urgency of the tooth extraction as well as precautions regarding treatment. In general, leaving an infected tooth in your mouth poses more risk to you and your unborn child than proper dental care with certain restrictions and precautions.

Absolutely: If the tooth must be extracted now and cannot wait 6 or more months, then your dentist will consult with your OBGYN regarding the procedure. Better off not getting an infection.

It is recommended: Dental care, teeth removal and dental anesthesia is safe and essential during pregnancy. Pregnancy is not a reason to defer routine dental care or treatment. Good luck!
