Ive had a slight but constant burning sensation right under my ribcage on my left side. nothing seems to make it better or worse. any thoughts?

Burn: Burning pain makes docs think of nerve pain, so if you have or had a rash in that area, shingles is possible, or possibly a pinched nerve from your back. Your stomach is under the ribs and slightly to the left, so a stomach ulcer is possible or gastritis.
