A member asked:

I have lower than average hematocrit which has been tested four times over a year. the rest of my blood tests are normal. should this be investigated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: Low hematocrit means you are anemic. It depends how low, what your MCV is and how old you are. Are you otherwise healthy?
