May irritate skin: Aspirin works by exfoliating (removing) the layer of dead skin cells on the surface of the skin that can clog pores. There are many OTC acne products specifically made for the skin that contain aspirin(salicylic acid) also known as Beta Hydroxy Acid. These products are designed to be non-irritating to the skin.
