A member asked:

Can oral antibiotics cause dry eyes? if so what should be done to avoid this side effect?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dry eye: It is possible that an antibiotic can cause a change in the body the depletes fluid stores causing dryness in the eye. I would recommend going to the pharmacy and purchasing some over the counter artificial tears. You can use these 1-4x daily as needed to combat the symptoms of dryness.
