Diet and Exercise: The goal is to burn more calories than you consume. Watch your diet-eliminate junk food and don't over eat. Consider liquids as well-soda, alcohol, etc contains a lot of calories. Exercise multiple times a week. If you find an activity you really enjoy you'll be more likely to engage in that activity. Avoid fad diets that could prevent you from getting adequate nutrition. Make healthy choices!

Not to loose it fast: I can't endorse any method that cause too fast of weight loss, as it would be usually achieved by un healthy means and not be lasting weight loss anyway. Most people that loose weight gain it back, unless they adopt lasting lifestyle changes. The only place for rapid weight loss would be any individual that is severly obese, weight is an immediate danger and perhaps to get them ready for surgery.

StopEating esp Carbs: Carbs, complex & especially simple (fructose) are rapidly converted into & stored as fat. Thus drastically decrease all carbs & no sugars. Eat real food, not processed foods. Study "taubes why we get fat", "stossel debunking food myths", “how the government makes you fat” nusi.Org, gary taubes, peter attia, "lustig fatchance", “sugar: the bitter truth”, etc. Exercise & ↑ muscle mass also helps.
