Diet and Exercise: The goal is to burn more calories than you consume. Watch your diet-eliminate junk food and don't over eat. Consider liquids as well-soda, alcohol, etc contains a lot of calories. Exercise multiple times a week. If you find an activity you really enjoy you'll be more likely to engage in that activity. Avoid fad diets that could prevent you from getting adequate nutrition. Make healthy choices!

Gradual weight loss is better to keep it off for a long time. Rapid weight loss comes back when you stop the regimen you got there. It is difficult to stick to a regimen that makes you lose that much weight in 2 months. Get into healthy eating habits. Remember u eat 2 live and live 2 eat.

Not to loose it fast: I can't endorse any method that cause too fast of weight loss, as it would be usually achieved by un healthy means and not be lasting weight loss anyway. Most people that loose weight gain it back, unless they adopt lasting lifestyle changes. The only place for rapid weight loss would be any individual that is severly obese, weight is an immediate danger and perhaps to get them ready for surgery.

most quick weight loss plans - use "fad" diet changes - ie: cabbage diet, maple syrup/apple cider diet, "cookie diet" - these are not long term diet choices and not maintainable for weight maintenance. A lower carbohydrate, higher protein, lower calorie plan works best with moderate increase in exercise activity. The other key is NOT skipping breakfast or meals - eating every 3-4 hours.....

Exercise: The healthiest way is to eat a well rounded diet: do not eat in excess, but make sure you are getting fruits, vegetables, protein, and other necessary vitamins and minerals. Do not starve yourself. Exercise regularly. Walking, running, an elliptical, biking, a fitness class, etc are all great ways to get started. Find an exercise you enjoy doing and try to do it several times a week.
