Pretty vague: White blood cells are infection fighting cells and are usually elevated in the context of an infection or physical stress. Lymphocytes are a specific kind of white blood cell that are usually though of as virus fighting cells, it may be that you had a mild viral cold when you had your blood drawn. Check with the doctor who ordered the tests if you are worried.
