Recently i had blood work and my lymphocytes were at 6.8 and went to 11. my wbc was at 15.8. and my monocytes were slightly elevated. ive been on prednisone for 7 mths ( 15mg now at 6mg). could this be caused by the prednisone or something much more?

Possibly: Corticosteroids can raise the total wbc and percentage of neutrophils while lowering the percentage of lymphocytes and monocytes. However, your current dose of prednisone is low at 6 mgs and I'm reluctant to attribute the elevated wbc of 15,800 to the prednisone.
