Second opinion: I routinely recommend discontinuing ineffective treatment. If you are having trouble with discontinuing and have underlying skin issues that could benefit from another cream, then a trusted dermatologist should be able to help. If you need a referral, ask people you know for the name of a dermatologist who will spend the time to discuss and explain their diagnosis/treatment/outcome expected.

STOP THIS CREAM: Perioral dermatitis is a specific diagnosis for a rash and pimples on the face most often caused by a steroid cream. The stronger the cream the worse it is. Clobetasol is the strongest there is, so it should never be used on the face. When you stop it looks much worse at first BUT YOU MUST STOP!
