My son used clove oil to deaden pain from dry socket after wisdom teeth removal. i believe he burned the roof of his mouth from the oil. he now has diarrhea. is this from the oil? should he just hydrate and try imodium (loperamide)?

Could be: Too much oil can certainly cause diarrhea. How much did you use?
