Drink plenty of: fluids, eat good quality fiber containing fruits, nuts and vegetables, avoid animal protein until back to normal. Delay could be to having "cleaned things out" therefore a delay while the GI tract gets back to functioning properly. A good high quality probiotic blend will be helpful in getting the good bacteria back in control.
