Injury or overuse?: Pain is more of a concerning sign than making noise. If you have previously injured that elbow or if you do an activity where you hold the elbow in a certain position for a long time (video games, sports?), that can cause the muscles to become less flexible. It can be common for joints to make popping noises as muscles move. Consider looking up elbow and forearm stretches, or yoga?
