I was prescribed 80mg of pantoprazole. 40mg 2x a day. i am in no pain but my throat is swollen from reflux.from what i read 80mg is not safe??

For certain problems: 80mg is an appropriate dosage in fact for hypersecretory disease the dose may be as high as 240mg per day. So 80mg should not as a rule be detrimental
