Burn fat/ lose weigh: To lose weight insure that calories burned > calories consumed. Drink at least 8 - 8 oz glasses of water per day. Try for 8 hours of sleep/night. Aim for at least 5 servings of vegetables & 4 servings of fruit per day. Use whole grain when possible. Avoid sodas, alcohol & junk carbohydrates. Get in a good mix of aerobic & weight lifting exercises.

Eating a low carb: and high protein diet will help. It can put you into a state where you burn fat rather than the byproduct of glucose. Check w/your doc first to make sure this is appropriate for you. Peace and good health.

Mainly exercise: good news, google "post-exercise effect". As that cleaning house after a party burns energy, getting body back to baseline after a workout takes additional calories too. WHile diabetes, thyroid, depression lower metabolic rate; you can't just take a pill (other than dinitrophenol which is often fatal) that boost energy. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1775472781/1708440999?token=378a5145
