Start with RICE: Tendonitis (inflammed tendon) commonly results from overuse. In order to treat the pain, i recommend you start with rice, oral/ topical/ injected anti-inflammatories, follow with stretching/ strengthening (therapy), & consider couterforce bracing. Massage may also help. If these treatments fail you may be a candidate for cortisone or prp injections. Few people end up needing surgery.
