If chronic: If the tendonitis is chronic, consider also prolotherapy or pemf therapy.

Tendinitis. : Tendinitis happens in a relatively short time and lasts less than 6 weeks with relative rest, ice, bracing and antiinflammatories. If present greater than 6 weeks it represents a non inflamed disease of the tendon called tendinosis. Treated with eccentric loading exercises, prolotherapy, astym or gaston therapy, and platelet rich plasma injections.
