was playing ball, i strained or pulled my hamstring area (gluteal fold area) right side. can it heal on it s own?

As long as it did -: not pull the boney attachment off. it can heal. also depends on the severity of the tear 1,2 or 3 complete. muscle is not able to be sutured, but if the bone attachment to the pelvis is avulsed it can be repaired.
