If you have surgery on your ankle and are in a splint for 6 weeks then go into a walking cast. will u be able to walk on it as soon as you get it off ?

A cast of thousands: Of course that depends on the type of surgery performed on your ankle. But more than likely after the walking cast, a removable cast boot may be necessary. Sometimes however walking is permitted after the cast removal with or without crutch assistance.
