Ankle surgery: In most if not all cases you should be able to ambulate and do regular activities with a regular gait pattern with no pain. If this is a reconstructive case such as a fusion then the answer would be no. Talk with your surgeon and let him know your concerns and see if this surgery is right for you. If your worried you should seek out another opinion.
