Discharge: Morning after pills work best if taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex. The closer to the sex you take the pill the more effective it is. The discharge is probably not related to the pill. It may be normal or may be due to infection. Get checked for infections and take a pregnancy test if you miss a period. Consider a more reliable form of birth control.

Not necessarily: The hormones in the pill may alter vaginal secretions. It is too soon to know if the pill worked or not. About three weeks after the episode of sex in question, if you do not get a period by then, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative, repeat the test in 5-7 days. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
